Montague Park & Playground

Montague Park is an awesome park with kids activities for all ages that the whole family can enjoy. From a basketball court and grass area with soccer goals, to a playground perfect for smaller kids and even a community street library - there's something here for everyone!

Playground

Montague Park Playground is a fenced playground with a range play equipment including

Play sports at Montague Park

Right next to the kids playground is a concrete basketball court with one basketball hoop. There is also a large grass open area with soccer goals. Kids, teens and even parents can get competitive and enjoy a fun game of basketball or soccer together!

If your family is not a fan of sports, you can enjoy a picnic in the open grass space or even fly a kite!

Street library

In front of the playground entrance is a little library where you are welcome to take an interesting book and leave one in return. It's great for encouraging a love of reading as well as generosity and sharing values in your kids!

Accessibility

The concrete path leading to the playground is flat and suitable for prams and wheelchairs. The inside of the playground beyond the fences has loose cork as its flooring, which is not ideal for wheelchairs. There is a grass open space which is relatively flat but there may be a soccer or footy game on or dogs running there.

Dog friendly park

Montague Park is fantastic for dogs! The open grass oval is great for exercising your dog off leash and making new friends.
