Whitsundays Kayaking Guided Turtle Tour - Half Day

Set off on a half-day kayaking adventure through the sparkling waters of the Whitsundays. After a courtesy bus ride from Airlie Beach to Shute Harbour, you’ll hop into your kayak and paddle across clear turquoise seas, gliding over colourful coral reefs and around tropical islands. Your guide will share fun local stories while you keep watch for sea turtles popping up nearby, sea eagles overhead, and even humpback whales between July and September.

• Minimum age is seven years old (one adult per child)
• Participants must speak and understand English
• Participants must be physically fit for moderate paddling
• Routes may change due to conditions
• Follow safety instructions at all times
• Participants must be able to swim
• Not suitable for those with serious medical conditions
• Please provide accommodation details when booking
• Please advise dietary requirements when booking
• Self-drive parking available at Shute Harbour
• Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed
• Name changes permitted up to 48 hours before departure as after that changes cannot be guaranteed
• Small group sizes for a personalized experience (minimum numbers may apply for tour to operate)
• Spectators are not permitted on kayaks
• Non-participants can enjoy nearby beaches or Shute Harbour facilities
• Tours operate in most conditions but may be altered or cancelled due to safety reasons during severe weather
• Refunds or rescheduling will be offered if cancelled by the experience provider
• This experience is not wheelchair accessible
• Participants must be able to enter and exit kayaks independently
