Highlights

• Take-off from the Matukituki Valley at the gateway to the National Park
• Cross the tussock covered hillsides of a high-country deer station and rise above the snow capped peaks of the alps with their deep glacial covered valleys
• Enjoy a high-altitude snow landing either overlooking the Matukituki River or across at Mt Aspiring
• Fly around Mt Aspiring, the pinnacle of the National Park and highest peak outside of the Mt Cook region
• Mt Aspiring towers above her neighbours and makes for an impressive photographic subject
• Get an up-close view of the blue ice and crevasses of the Bonar, Volta and Therma glaciers
• View a glacial lake and continue on for a second alpine landing and photo opportunity prior to returning to the hangar

Time

• Flights operate daily except Christmas Day 25 December
• At the completion of purchase, you will need to contact the tour operator to book in a flight time that suits you (Tour Operator details will be printed in your tour voucher)
• Departs from Cattle Flat Station, 2211 Mt Aspiring Road Wanaka
• Check-in for all flights is 15min prior to flight time

• Flights require a minimum of 2 adult passengers to be confirmed
• Single bookings can be taken but they are subject to confirmation of a flight
• Passenger weights are required on booking, this is a CAA requirement
• Children are 4-14yr old (3 and under are free of charge)
• Pregnant women are welcome to fly
