Itinerary

• 07.45am: Check in at our Vessel Independence 1, Wharf. Meet the captain and our marine biologists. Enjoy morning tea/coffee and cookies.
• 08.00am: Departure to the Great Barrier Reef locations of the day; Morning and safety briefings while underway. Participate in interpretive marine talks. Receive snorkeling instructions. Get changed and ready for the snorkeling adventure.
• 10.00am: Explore the first reef location until 11.30pm. Guided exploration with our marine biologists; Option to explore independently. Learn about these pristine environments in a sustainable and eco-friendly manner.
• 11.30am: Enjoy morning tea/coffee, fruit cake, and fruit platter while moving to the next reef location.
• 12.00pm: Explore the second reef location. Guided exploration with our marine biologists; Option to explore independently. Learn about these pristine environments in a sustainable and eco-friendly manner.
• 1.30pm: Departure to Port Douglas.
• 1.30pm: Enjoy a Deli style lunch roll and cake at your own leisure. Alcoholic drinks (beer/wine) service made available on return journey. Summary of the day’s wildlife encounters.
