Yarra River White Water Rafting & Caving Day Tour

Set off for an action-packed full-day adventure just outside Melbourne, combining white-water rafting and underground caving. Meet your friendly guides and gear up before heading out onto the Yarra River. You'll jump into the rapids for around two hours and 30 minutes, filled with teamwork and laughter. Take on iconic grade two sections like Bob’s Rock and Pinball Rapid as you move through native bushland and deep river gorges.

At the finish point, a shuttle will take you back to your vehicle, where you’ll then make a short drive to the caving site for the second half of your adventure. Equipped with helmets and headlights, you’ll follow your guide deep into a network of granite boulder caves, crawling and squeezing through narrow passageways. You'll find shallow underground streams, and discover a hidden ecosystem of glow worms, cave crickets and unique fungi. This experience blends nature, challenge and adrenaline into one epic outdoor day.

Inclusions

Time

• The rafting starts at 10am and the caving starts at 3pm
• There is a 45-minute drive between the locations; you will have to self-drive

Duration

• This experience is approximately eight hours in duration.

What To Bring

• Closed-toed footwear is essential
• Layer up with thermals, fleeces and spray jackets in cooler months
• Three sets of adventure clothes, as you will get wet in both activities - One for rafting, one for caving, and a full change of clothes and a towel to go home
• It's highly recommended that you wear long sleeves and long pants to protect you from scratches

Terms And Conditions

• Maximum weight limit is 110kg
• Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult
• You will be required to carry the kayak a short distance from the vehicle to the river
• One child with every paying adult. Adults with more than one child will be charged at the adult rate
• You will be required to crawl on your hands and knees and slide over rocks during the caving experience; not suitable for those with knee and back issues
• In extreme weather conditions the tour may be cancelled if safety is a concern, you will be contacted by the provider and rescheduled

Cancellation Policy

• Changes to your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience will incur a $15 per person rebooking fee, this includes under 16's
• Changes to your booking within 7 days before the start time of your experience will incur a $30 per person rebooking fee, this includes under 16's
• Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
