The historic grounds hold a significant place in Australiaβs Indigenous and early pioneering history as the original site of agricultural activities taking place in the 1850βs. Take your time exploring the island's extensive farm grounds and gardens, wander along the bay trails and discover the ways of the past as you watch rangers and farmhands carry out daily farming duties like sheep shearing, working dogs and cow milking.
