After gearing up with a helmet, gloves and head torch, you'll step into the forest approaching the cave entrance. The journey begins the moment you climb inside, feeling the cool air and hearing water moving through the rock. You’ll crawl and climb your way through passages and chambers, while your guide shares fun stories and helps you safely navigate the cave system.

As you move deeper, you’ll wade through shallow streams and crouch through narrow openings, looking for tiny glow worms and fungi glowing in the darkness. With multiple entry and exit points, the experience can be tailored to suit your comfort level, making it perfect for any skill level. This unforgettable caving experience invites you to get muddy and discover nature from a completely different perspective.

Duration

• This experience is two hours in duration.

Departure Location

• This experience departs at 2445 Warburton Highway, Yarra Junction, VIC 3797, next to the toilet block in Yarra Junction town centre.

What To Bring

• Closed toed footwear
• Clothes you don’t mind getting wet and dirty
• A full change of clothing including footwear for after the caving
• Wear long sleeves and trousers and a few layers of clothing in cooler months

Terms And Conditions

• Minimum age is 10 years old
• Maximum weight limit is 110kg
• Minimum of six and maximum of 12 participants
• Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult
• Participants must be able to fit through some enclosed spaces
• One child with every paying adult. Adults with more than one child will be charged at the adult rate
• You will be required to crawl on your hands and knees and slide over rocks during the caving experience; not suitable for those with knee and back issues
• In extreme weather conditions the tour may be cancelled if safety is a concern, you will be contacted by the provider and rescheduled

Cancellation Policy

• Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
• Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
• Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
