• This experience is only valid from June to October yearly

Time

• Hot air ballooning and vineyard breakfast begins between 3.50 am to 4.30 am and concludes between 9.45 am to 10.30 am

Duration

• For the hot air balloon experience please allow approximately six hours in total including the vineyard breakfast and 40 - 65 minute flight

Departure Location

• Hot air balloon pickup is available from accommodation in Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Main Beach and Southport between 3.50 am and 4.30 am or meet at Nerang or Canungra
• Whale watching departs Sea World Cruises Main Beach Terminal, located in the car park outside of Sea World

What To Bring

• It is recommended that you wear long pants and closed in shoes - no heels, slippers or skirts please
• Bring a jacket and avoid white clothes
• Hat, sunglasses and camera
• If your flight time is from April to October (in winter), you need to wear warm clothes; in other months, there will be warm airflow due to the burning of hot air balloons
• Sea sickness remedy if required

Additional Information

• For Hot Air Balloon and Whale Watching - All bookings are weather dependent, and in the case of bad weather your booking will be rescheduled
• The whale watching experience can be taken on the same day or on a different day
• Children under 3 years cannot participate
• Children 3 - 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
• Children aged 13-17 years old can travel on the balloon flight by themselves but must be accompanied by a responsible adult for the duration of the tour
• You must be able to climb up the 1.2-meter foothold ladder into the hot air balloon basket without assistance
• You must be able to stand for the duration of the flight

Terms And Conditions

• Pregnant women and those who participated in diving the previous day are not suited to this activity
• Passengers with medical conditions or that have accessibility issues, please check with your doctor or specialist prior to booking.
• At no time will a passenger be allowed to fly if their judgment is impaired by alcohol, drugs, or prescription medicine
• Due to weight and safety restrictions, handbags and backpacks may not be carried on the hot air balloon. Please do not bring large bags
• Unless the camera fails, digital photos will be provided every flight. If the camera fails, no compensation or refund will be given
• Please note that the timings might be adjusted due to seasonal changes, and the specific schedule is subject to the reservation confirmation you received

Cancellation Policy

• Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
• Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
• Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
